Prohuis strikes 1st pole unique business building

Prohuis struck the first pile into the ground Dec. 13 of a business building with five connected units. It is already known which entrepreneurs will be doing business there after completion the third quarter of 2019.

KPS, Niecom Installation Construction, Gritco and Royal Roofing Materials are four of the five companies taking up residence in the unique multi-tenant business building at 91-99 Florijnstraat It involves accommodation totaling 4,500 m2 In which each entrepreneur will have a unit of approximately 900 m2 with its own entrance and house number.

That, according to Jordi van der Pas of Prohuis, immediately explains the success of this project. “Entrepreneurs who need this kind of space find that purchasing their own lot and building on it is often not cost-effective. We are building the business building in series and with fewer facades. That makes a significant difference in costs and is therefore positive for profitability.”

The commercial building is the last project Prohuis will deliver with gas connection. “Nevertheless, it is a sustainable building with a high level of insulation of roof, facade and floor,” Van der Pas says. The insulation work is still some time away. “Let’s put 141 piles of about 20 meters first,” he said.
